MTN has rolled out the lowest or you can call it the cheapest international call rate; 15kobo/sec!

On MTN XtraSpecial, a new prepaid tariff plan, customers can enjoy  calls at a FLAT rate of 15kobo/sec to ALL Networks in Nigeria and to some selected international destinations from the very first second.

MTN XtraSpecial tariff plan does not attract a daily access fee.

At 15kobo/sec you can call the following international destination;

Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom and the United States.

All you have to do is to follow the steps below;

NEW SUBSCRIBERS

  • Buy and register a MTN SIM.
  • Dial *408*1# or send 408 to 131 to migrate to MTN XtraSpecial •
  • Recharge and start calling.

OLD SUBSCRIBERS

  • Dial *408*1# or send 408 to 131 to migrate to MTN XtraSpecial (if you are not there already).
  • To check your tarrif plan, dial *556# and look at the top of your account balance for your tarrif plan.
  • Recharge and calling.
