Oh Yes! I mean you can actually get 500MB on the MTN network for as little as N25 between 12am – 4am everyday. And yes, it’s perfectly legal.

No need to tweak or root your phone. Unbelievable, right?

It’s called Happy Hour night browsing!

Devices eligible must be GPRS enabled and these includes; iPhones, Blackberry, Windows, Androids, Java-enabled, Modems, e.t.c.

All you have to do is to follow the steps below;

NEW SUBSCRIBERS

  • Buy and register a mtn SIM
  • Dial *406*1# or send 406 to 131 to migrate to mtn Pulse
  • Send NIGHT as a sms to 131 and N25 will be deducted from your account.
  • Once its 12am (network time) you can connect to the internet and browse at no cost till 4am.

OLD SUBSCRIBERS

  • Dial *406*1# or send 406 to 131 to migrate to mtn Pulse (if you are not there already).
  • To check your tarrif plan, dial *556# and look at the top of your account balance for your tarrif plan.
  • Send NIGHT as a sms to 131 and N25 will be deducted from your account.
  • Once its 12am (network time) you can connect to the internet and browse at no cost till 4am.

Dos & Don’ts

  1. Do remember that it is a daily night browsing bundle, i.e. you need to subscribe every night you plan to browse by sending the activation message; NIGHT to 131 @N25.
  2. Do remember that fair usage applies (capped at 500MB).
  3. Do make sure you are using at least a GPRS enabled phone. A modem will work too but make sure you have already migrated to the PULSE tarrif plan and activated code (by sending the SMS) on the MTN SIM you are inserting.
  4. Do make sure you migrate before you send the activation SMS
  5. Do make sure you start browsing at exactly 12am or 12.30am to be on safe side to avoid being charge.
  6. Don’t exceed the 4am deadline so as not to be charged for browsing.

P.S: MTN Pulse is different from MTN iPulse. The former is newly launched while the latter is old.

P.S.S: MTN terms and conditions apply.
